The Fudge Cottage

Rebrand of business for new owners.

New owners taking over an established fudge shop in a busy tourist strip wanted a complete rebrand — out with the old identity, in with something fun, bright, and unapologetically sweet. The new brand needed to work hard in-store for walk-in tourist trade, and equally hard online through a new e-commerce site designed to extend sales well beyond the shopfront.

TFC Packaging

The brief called for something that felt like walking into a lolly shop — colour, energy, and a sense of playfulness. The identity was built around a bold, characterful palette and typography with personality, giving the brand the kind of shelf presence that stops tourists mid-stride.

Applied across the full suite: brand identity and guidelines, stationery, in-store menus, packaging, and exterior signage designed to draw foot traffic from the street. The e-commerce site extended the brand into a clean online shopping experience — built to convert browsers into buyers and give the business a revenue channel that operates well beyond opening hours and well beyond the postcode.

The rebrand launched alongside the new owners’ opening, giving the business a fresh identity from day one. The e-commerce site opened up online sales to customers well outside the immediate tourist area — turning a seasonal, location-dependent business into one with national reach.
